The M6 device spots a 5.5-Inches 1080p AMOLED display while the M6 plus gathers a massive 6-Inches 1080p AMOLED display.
In terms of Memory, Both devices spots an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 SoC though The M6 Plus also has a slightly faster chipset, its octa-core processor is at 2GHz while the M6 spots 1.8GHz , a massive 4GB RAM and a 64/128GB variants Storage memory. While they are both preloaded with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow accompanied with Gionee Custom UI the Amigo OS 3.5.
They also both spot a 8.0MP selfie camera at the front while the M6 comes in a 13MP primary against the 16MP seen on M6 plus.

The biggest highlight is the data encryption chip embedded inside the smartphones. Both Gionees have a dedicated security chip that offers 10 layers of protection for your personal data. The fingerprint reader is only part of the security.
The Gionee M6 packs a huge 5000mAh battery which claims to last up to 6.4 hours of video playback, 55 hours of continuous call, and 794 hours (33 days) of stand-by time. While the M6 plus spots a bigger 6020MAh Battery. They also supports fast charging tech, and the company claims that the M6 can fully charge in two hours.
Gionee also says that the Marathon M6 houses 9V/2A dual-charge chip that allows for "faster, safer, cooler" charging of the battery. In addition, the M6 can also be used as a power bank for charging other devices. It can charge other smartphones 20% faster than regular power banks.
The Gionee M6 come in Champagne Gold and Latte Gold colors and the M6 Plus comes only in Champagne Gold color.

In terms of pricing, The Marathon M6 will be going on sale in China starting August 6 at CNY 2699 (N126,000) for 64GB version and CNY 2899 (N135,000) for 128GB version. The larger Marathon M6 Plus will hit the shelves on August 13 at CNY 2999 (N140,000) and CNY 3199 (N149,000) for 64GB and 128GB inbuilt storage variants.
No details on when it will hit international market.
